Ran just because I could…

“The miracle isn’t that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start.”
― John Bingham, No Need for Speed: A Beginner’s Guide to the Joy of Running

I really like this quote because for this race, I had no time to train and wasn’t sure I could complete it. Though I am suffering (physically) a little now after the race, I’m glad I pulled through and got my finisher’s reward! 🙂

  1. Well done, Sally! Keep on running; keep on keeping on!:)

Just like to share with you a portion of the scriptures that came to my mind as I read your interesting blog:-

Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. (1 Corinthians 9:24, 25 NLT)
